The shares of NYX closed today below 50. There were 7 new highs on the NYSE today, and 148 new lows. The Nasdaq recorded 17 new highs and 213 new lows. The percent of stocks below their 200 day moving average is now in the 40's. These are temporary extreme numbers. Sometime this week, with option expiration, we will make a tradable bottom.
